Five on Friday (You won't want to miss these 5 things!)

Oh Friday, I am so happy to see you. Fortunately, this week has gone by fast because it's been a busy one at work and I've been busy at home with working out ETC...but I am still antsy to get this weekend thing on the go!!! Let's hope today goes by quickly!!

TWO

Every muscle in my body is sore this week from all of the exercise and strength training and I *LOVE* it. I can feel myself getting stronger, and I really think that my commitment to the next six weeks (no cheats) is going to pay off. So far, I have not even been TEMPTED at all by food, although I'm sure it will happen. When your mind is in the right spot, your body can do amazing things!!

FOUR

I signed up with Sami to run the Virtual 5K for Maggie. Sami is a fun blogger who is getting back into shape by running her little heart out (WAY TO GO, girl!) and she is simultaneously fundraising in memory of her younger sister who passed away tragically and suddenly last year. You can read more about her story here. The virtual 5K is basically just a way for runners all over the world to get out and run a 5K race (on their own or with others) wearing the Running for Maggie bib and post about it in support of this cause. I'm looking forward to running the 5K in August.

FIVE

Brian fixed an old rocking horse that used to be his for Molly. My M-I-L sent us this little collage of Brian riding the horse as a kid and Molly on it this week. SO CUTE :) PS - don't they look alike? It's crazy!

Well that's it for today...we have a busy Saturday planned including a 2 year old's birthday party at an indoor climbing gym/playground type thing, and a fiddle concert in the afternoon followed by a family BBQ in the evening. No cheat meals this weekend, but I'm ready for it!! Sunday we might hit up the beach or take it easy and get some stuff done around the house!!!
