It goes without saying that I love this little kiddo more than anything :) She is getting so cute & much more verbal these days. I love it when she accidentally drops something and says "uh-oh!" in a very high-pitched toddler voice. It is adorable.
We have been really busy and not sleeping well these past couple of weeks. I am finding not very much time to blog, but I am hoping to make more of an effort in May. I have a lot of interesting ideas to write about, but I just haven't gotten them out there yet!!! May has gotten off to a good start in some ways. For one thing, the weather here finally feels like spring!! Yaaay!! Molly has been enjoying playing outside in the sunshine & we hope to be outside all weekend too! :)
I have also gotten into a somewhat regular routine of working out in the morning. However, some mornings it just doesn't happen. If M was up in the night or I couldn't sleep well, I am finding it next to impossible to drag myself out of bed at 5 am to exercise. I need to work on this, because once I do work out, I feel great later on...kind of. I also find that I am exhausted later on in the day and often require a second coffee to get through the workday despite the healthy food I eat. Not sure what to do about this but my body probably just has to adjust (at least according to Hubby, the past morning exercise pro!)
An update on some past projects: I made my yogurt last weekend and it turned out pretty well! The only issue was that it took a loooong time and only made about 750 mL of yogurt, maybe. So overall, I wouldn't say that it is an attempt worth trying too frequently but it's good to know that it's an option. It basically took the entire day (off and on), so I wouldn't really be able to do it on a busy weekend.
In other news, we bought a new car! It's a 2010 Rav4 and although B gets to drive it to work (for the most part), I have driven it a few times too! It's nice and it will be great for the occasional trip out of the city with all of our toddler stuff. Haha. We are hoping to get out biking this weekend or next week so it'll be great to take the bike trailer out too.
I am participating in this awesome idea this month. It is basically like having a penpal except that you send sort of a fun care package to a person. I think it's a really cool idea and I will be sending mine to someone in Canada to reduce shipping costs. I can't wait to see how it pans out!!
Today's song is from a PEI band, Two Hours Traffic, and it's called Heroes of the Sidewalk. Seriously, check them out. Especially if you like Joel Plaskett because he produced two of their albums. Here's a video of the song.
Have a great weekend everyone!! Don't forget to enjoy the sunshine if you can!! I plan to enjoy it by taking Molly to the playground and going for a long run!!
